Frozen Spoon

Hi, everyone!

I’m back with another review! I realise Ghana as a whole doesn’t really do desserts. Let’s be honest. Our most dessert-y thing is alewa, truly. But lately, we’ve been trying. I have a set of sweet teeth, personally, so I’m always excited to find spots that are dedicated to specific desserts.

Frozen Spoon randomly popped up on my Instagram feed one day, with this delectable looking ice cream-pancake combo dessert & I immediately had to save it.

Frozen Spoon is an ice cream shop that specialises in ice cream desserts, so think pancakes, waffles & milkshakes. I had a field day going through their Instagram. Their lights are the cutest ice cream cone looking things & they have this rose wall that is VERY ‘instagrammable’.

My rule of thumb is to keep things simple when I go somewhere I’ve never been before, because I get upset when I something sounds amazing, but comes out dreadful!

Fortunately, that wasn’t the case. I got 3 scoops on a cone [flavours: Baileys, Mixed/Wild Berries, Cookies/Biscuit] and it was so good! I like my ice cream with crunchy bits in there, for a bit of texture so once that option is available, I’m definitely getting it.

My dates however got more…elaborate desserts.

They got chocolate waffles, with multiple scoops of ice cream [I caught this photo right before it toppled over, but we managed to save everything].

Now, the price range.

Frozen Spoon sells regular food in addition to the ice cream so food ranges from GHS 5 – GHS 35 & drinks range from GHS 10 – GHS 18.

We all enjoyed our desserts, so I’d say it was an all around satisfactory experience. Check it out & let me know what you guys think.
